Reduction of 50% on capital gain tax

The Spanish government agreed a reduction of 50% on capital gain tax for all properties acquired between 12.05.2012 and 31.12.2012. The reduction will be applied on all property sales in future, without time limit. The new legislation is valid for all kind of owners; legal people, companies, residents and non-residents. At the moment, the capital gain tax is 21% for legal people and 30-35% for companies.
